We are asked on occasion how we conceptualized The Lost and built it to the point it is at now with the agency at the heart of this and of course, the blogs and other pieces that have been sidelined (possibly temporarily) to the projects being built in the background with a view to creating a fresh perspective and dynamic.

Our creative director JamesC has spent the last few years working quietly off set with smaller brands and rethinking his own brand identity and working style which was the catalyst for much of what is happening. There are many fantastic agencies and creative talents out there but there just wasn’t anyone who fitted with the aesthetic and style that JamesC has created for himself over time, while his work is recognizable, the market has become a short term space at the lower to middle level and out of reach at the A grade due to other commitments and geographical location.

So rather than stand down and let art and passion wither on the vine The Lost was created to shape and give a custom space to thrive within. What this means is there will be an incubation program to grow certain elements and brand identities within The Lost group showcasing both the creative and commercial side of his art and taking the reams of information that has been stockpiled for future reference into a working arena that will aim at the digital scene with some of that being niche of course, but a largely commercial arm that will touch on some urban mythology and giving it a unique twist that fits our creative vision.

To be Lost is to have found yourself off the beaten track and creating something new, pushing boundaries and working outside the standard dynamic because sometimes you have to do things that scare you, move in a new direction and take a chance on something new.

Over the next few months there will be launches of new creative projects and negotiations to bring people into the fold and expand as a concept to showcase a whole new world of potential that came from the shadows and will showcase that with style.
