Atelier Plans

With the frustration of a lack of internet access for a week there was a positive in this that we have been designing and planning around our expanded office/studio plans. The studio or as we now prefer to think of it; the atelier, which will be central to the film/TV aspect of future plans.

For those unfamiliar what the term Atelier means here is a fairly decent explanation that can fit with the makeup department planning ahead:

“An atelier is a private workshop or studio where an artist, designer, or architect creates fine or decorative art. The French word literally translates to "workshop" or "studio" and often implies a place where a master works with assistants or students.”

This will give a very distinct separation between the main work of PR and the makeup department headed up by JamesC. The fun side of this of course, is spending time on Pinterest researching ideas but the practicalities are finding the right location at the right price.

Naturally we want to keep this as close as possible to the office so that meetings can be held or photo shoots without worrying to much about traveling. While this does seem like a pipe dream it has been something we have contemplated for many years and developing at the pace we are it is starting to look more and more like a route we have to go down.
